MANILA, Philippines — Rains are expected to prevail over parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Saturday due to the effects of shear line, the state weather bureau said.
According to the 5 a.m. weather forecast of Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), Bicol Region, parts of Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan), Visayas, and Mindanao will experience rains brought by the shear line, or the convergence of winds from the northern and southern hemispheres.
