MANILA, Philippines — Light rains and overcast skies are expected to prevail over several parts of the country on Saturday due to the effects of amihan (or the northeast monsoon) and the shear line.
The Philippine, Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical and Services Administration (Pagasa) in its latest forecast, said the strongest effects of the amihan are expected to be felt in the eastern sections of Luzon, particularly in parts of the Cordillera, Aurora, Quezon, Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.
