By MANILA, Philippines — Former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral was invited and questioned by the Office of the Ombudsman on December 3 — more than two weeks before her death — over the ongoing probe into alleged irregularities in flood control projects.
“There are several information that have reached us that she has a list of these proponents and the projects. So this was the subject of an inquiry conducted by the Office of the Ombudsman,” Clavano said, adding that he was still awaiting a full report.
