By MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila and other parts of the country are forecast to experience rains on Friday due to the effect of the southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, the state weather bureau said.
In its morning forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said cloudy skies with a high chance of rain are expected in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
