By The southwest monsoon will continue to bring rain over Luzon on Monday, Aug. 17, the state weather bureau said.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical and Services Administration’s (Pagasa) latest weather forecast, the full effects of the monsoon are expected in Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro.
“As for the rest of Luzon, we will experience scattered rain showers, all brought about by the southwest monsoon,” said Pagasa weather specialist Grace Castañeda-Carpio.
