MANILA, Philippines – Rain showers are expected in many parts of Luzon Tuesday evening due to a low-pressure area (LPA), according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In its Tuesday afternoon update, Pagasa said that as of 3 p.m., the LPA was tracked some 130 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora.

Another LPA is being monitored outside of the Philippine area of responsibility (LPA) at around 1,760 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.
